DEAR FELLOW PATRON:
As I attend each of the remarkable productions at Hale Centre Theatre,
I am continually reminded of the great honor it is to be a part of the HCT
family. My connection with HCT, in fact, predates my involvement, as my
wife performed at the old Main Street location as a young girl. I have
personally been involved for the past six years as a member of the
Board of Trustees.
Hale Centre Theatre has an extraordinary 20,500 season ticket
subscribers; a clear demonstration that the Theatre is truly fulfilling its
mission to deliver world-class live theatre at affordable prices. We deeply
appreciate your continued support as a patron of HCT.
Although attendance at HCT has never been higher, it is certainly no
surprise that the current economic environment presents challenges to the
Theatre’s fund raising efforts. To help ensure Hale Centre Theatre remains
successful in 2009 and beyond, I am asking you to do what you can to
further support the Theatre.
The funds contributed to HCT are carefully monitored by the Board of
Trustees and its Executive Committee, as we take seriously our fiduciary
responsibility. The Theatre has worked for many years honing budgets and
establishing systems that keep the quality high and prices affordable. HCT
cannot operate on ticket revenue alone. Your contribution – your role as a
part of the HCT family – makes the difference.
